Mini golf has returned to the Central Coast, and it’s a “hole” lot of fun for birthday parties! Opened in 2024 in Lisarow, Hole in Fun has pink-iced doughnuts to putt through, a Ferris wheel to duck under, giant chess pieces to bounce around and a bath to recline in!
It’s an indoor venue with an 18-hole mini golf course, two golf simulators and a licensed bar! And it’s quickly cemented itself as the Central Coast’s destination for golfing fun!
Hole in Fun is THE BEST mini golf course we’ve ever seen. Forget the same-same courses of many putt-putts: Hole in Fun’s 18 holes are split into two courses so that your party crew stay entertained throughout the course. The first nine holes are bright, colourful and fun and have partygoers navigating giant ice blocks, old-school radios and flamingoes, while the final nine holes challenge them to a heap of awesome trick shots that involve putting up walls, along marble-style tracks and across 5cm bridges!
There’s a dedicated party room, you can choose to BYO food or have it fully catered, and some packages include a party host, making it a “hole” lot easier for parents.

Parties at Raw Challenge, Doyalson
Have a bunch of kids with a heap of energy? Want a party that they’ll talk about for months to come? Well, we’ve made an awesome discovery. Did you know that the Raw Challenge obstacle course at Doyalson can be hired for private parties? Yep, kids birthday parties, teen parties, bucks, hens, end-of-season celebrations – you name it: you bring the crowd and they’ll provide the fun.
Your birthday child and their mates will have an absolute blast: they’ll get covered in mud, wade through water, clamber up warped walls, balance across poles, climb over rope nets and slide down pipes. We’ve done these obstacles before and we can vouch that racing through them was some of the most fun we’ve had in, like, forever!
And because it’s open to everyone aged 5+ you can even invite Uncle Steve, Cousin Stace and your fun-lovin’ Pop to join in on the action too. As well as covering a broad age group, Raw Challenge can cater to all levels of strength, fitness and endurance, too, and they’ll adjust their course and obstacles to suit your group’s needs.
Qualified instructors will be there to supervise, support and encourage participants on the course and the showers are available for you to clean up at the end. There are shelters and barbecue facilities available for you to use if you’d like to self-cater or Raw Challenge can arrange a catering package for you through their friends at Doylo RSL.

Parties at Erina Ice Arena, Erina
Did you know that Erina Ice Arena hosts day-time ice skating parties and night-time disco parties on the ice? How fun is that!
The Disco Ice Skating parties are such a great option for teens and tweens. The lights are turned down, music turned up and laser lights bring the fun and colourful party vibe. Disco parties are held on Friday and Saturday nights (6:45pm-10pm) and give party-goers 2.5 hours of ice skating! Dinner is included too – mini pizzas, American hotdogs, nachos and soft drinks. We love the supervised freedom this party option provides to young teens.
The Childrens’ Skate Parties occur over lunch every Saturday and Sunday, and there are several packages available to suit your wants. It’s a great option for kids of all ages and skate levels (from beginner to experienced), as each party group gets a 30-minute skate lesson. During the skate lesson, the arena is closed to the general public, so party-goers have plenty of space to find their skate legs and show off their new skills. As well as the lesson, they’ll also have supervised time for free play and games such as ice limbo and ice hockey goal shooting.
Erina Ice Arena has four themed party rooms (think Frozen, Under the Sea, and Winter Village). The venue will decorate the space with balloons and fairy lights and you can also order a themed cake to match. Children’s skate parties are suitable for kids aged 6-13 and any adults are welcome to take to the ice, too, by purchasing a public skating ticket.
