With the 2021 Central Coast lockdown having been extended to mid-October, we know Central Coast families are keen to find places that they can safely get out and about to exercise. Let’s face it – most kids don’t exercise by going for walks or runs – they like something more physical, something competitive, something that involves a game. And what better way to burn off some steam than to shoot a few hoops at one of the many netball or basketball courts across the Central Coast!

Whether you’ve got teens missing their weekly games, little ones who love to slam dunk but can’t quite make the distance of the full-size hoops, or tweens who are desperate for a run around in the absence of their weekly PE classes and lunch breaks, we’ve found a bunch of awesome outdoor spaces that will give kids the freedom to hone their skills. Plus, many of these spaces offer other recreational activities including skate parks, BMX tracks, and playgrounds, as well as ample space for kids to run, cycle, and scoot away the jitters of lockdown!

So without further ado, here are some awesome outdoor netball and basketball court spaces you can visit with your kids this season.
