Looking for ways to get your kids off their screens, up off the couch, and moving their growing bodies while out in the fresh air? Let’s face it – most kids don’t exercise by going for walks or runs – they like something more physical, something competitive, something that involves a game. And what better way to burn off some steam than to shoot a few hoops at one of the many netball or basketball courts across the Central Coast!

Whether you’ve got teens already attending lessons, little ones who love to slam dunk but can’t quite make the distance of the full-size hoops, or tweens who are needing a little encouragement to put down the X-Box remote and try the real thing, we’ve found a bunch of awesome outdoor spaces that will give kids the freedom to hone their skills. Plus, many of these spaces offer other recreational activities including skate parks, BMX tracks, and playgrounds, as well as ample space for kids to run, cycle, and scoot away all that excess energy!

So without further ado, here are some awesome outdoor netball and basketball court spaces you can visit with your kids this season.
