Even though a rainy day is a great excuse to stay home, bring out the board games and drink hot chocolate, we all know that kids have a lot of energy to burn and sometimes getting out of the house is the only option!

We’ve scoured the Central Coast for some of the best all-weather family entertainment options for those mornings when you pull back the blind only to be greeted by heavy rain clouds!

Monkey Mania, Gosford

This isn’t just any old soft play centre! Not only does Monkey Mania have three levels of obstacle related fun, the wind activated foam ball arena adds an extra layer of excitement – we’ve even seen adults go a bit wild in there! For the real littlies, there’s a designated space for them to escape to when the place is heaving with boisterous older children in school holidays, but it’s really best suited to the 1-12 age group.
