If the post-Christmas holiday blues have kicked in, we’ve found something to lift your spirits!
Central Coast Council is inviting families to an evening of free festival-style fun at Gosford’s Leagues Club Park AND The Entrance’s Memorial Park this Australia Day long weekend.
Both locations promise an evening of fun where families are encouraged to soak up the last of the summer school holiday vibes, enjoy a host of live music, and a picnic-style dinner from home or one of the many food trucks.

Australia Day weekend festivities at Gosford!

The fun is set to be delivered at Gosford waterfront this year.
Kids will be kept entertained with face painting, an outdoor Tumbletown mega soft-play centre, Roundabout Circus workshops, organised sports games from Rugbytots and roving entertainment.
There will be a great lineup of live music from headline act Uncle Jed , with Under Scrutiny, The Cat Snatchers, Nick Read and Creative Engineers Performer Milana.
Plus, it wouldn’t be a festival without fireworks: thanks to sponsor Goldenway Amusements, they’ll be bursting into the sky at 9pm!
Australia Day weekend festivities at The Entrance!

The Entrance is getting it’s own festival too this year, with food trucks, live music and kids activities bringing the good-fun holiday vibes to Memorial Park.
Bringing live tunes to the stage are headline act Katie Jayne Band, with Baxter’s Revenge, The Tone Cutters, Cormac Grant and Creative Engineers Performer Ruby.
There’s a heap of fun for the kids: Little Kickers will run them ragged as will the fun backyard games like inflatable kangaroo races and thong throwing. For quieter fun there’s kids crafts, face painting and more.
Plus, the highlight of the evening (and an indication for little ones to head to bed) is the spectacular fireworks. They’ll be lighting up the sky at 9pm!
