Everything You Need to Know About Little Leaders’ April School Holiday Camps

With so many school holiday activities available for young kids, choosing one can be difficult. But we can tell you that the unique style, format, and purpose behind Little Leaders’ school holiday camps really do make them particularly special.

Let’s start with the practicalities that make these camps awesome:
+ The camps run a full school day – 8.30am to 3:30pm. This makes it great for working parents juggling kids and careers in the holidays!
+ The program is run in three convenient locations across the Central Coast – Tuggerah, Erina and Kincumber.
+ There are one- and two-day camps available across both weeks of the holiday, and you can even batch a few together to cover both weeks.
+ Lunch is included. This means you get a break from packing lunch boxes – huge yay to that!
+ The camps are for kids in kindy to year 6! So siblings can attend the same camp.
+ They accept the Creative Kids vouchers and Active Kids vouchers, so your kids can join in a full-day camp for as little as $30! How incredible is that!

And importantly for your little people, they’ll be learning incredible life skills while having a lot of fun. The Little Leaderprogram has been designed to support primary school-aged children to develop resilience, gratitude and mindfulness, and children participate in several activities that will challenge, encourage and inspire them to be the best people they can be!

Activities on rotation this April include:
+ Colour run
+ Team communication and blindfold challenges
+ Laser tag
+ Yoga & breathwork
+ Little Leaders’ Resilience Challenge
+ Parkour & obstacle courses
+ Djembe Drumming & music
+ Professional dance classes & dance competitions,
+ Little Leader wellness journaling
+ Pottery, craft & visual arts activities
+ LEGO… and much much more.

Discover more about Little Leaders, its beginnings and founders

Little Leaders was founded by two Central Coast locals. Bryce is a primary school teacher and Matt is a proud dad who works in the mental health community. They want to help kids adopt a growth mindset and become the best version of themselves, so they can grow into confident, capable, and resilient leaders. “Hear hear” to that.

With today’s busy world and parents facing so many challenges (on top of trying to juggle work, family commitments, and being the best parents they can be), there’s a lot of talk about adults learning about mindfulness. But what about our kids? Bryce and Matt could see how important it was that our littlest people learn these skills at a young age – to help them now and into adulthood. And so Little Leaders was born.
