Each year, in the weeks before Christmas, Santa ditches the sleigh for a fire truck to visit our community. Saint Nick and the wonderful volunteers of the Coast’s rural fire brigades hit the streets in their big red trucks – sirens blaring and lights flashing – to throw lollies from the windows and to wish everyone a very merry Christmas.

As always, please be aware that dates and plans for all stations may change without notice in the event of fires and extreme weather.

Find your suburb below for details on when Santa’s fire truck will be in your area. Can’t find your suburb? Please note that many Rural Fire Brigade’s are still confirming dates and locations for their truck runs. If your suburb isn’t listed, we recommend you head to a friend’s house in a neighbouring suburb to meet the volunteers there.

Please remember this is all put on by wonderful volunteers: if you can’t see your suburb included, don’t be a grinch about it. Instead, volunteer and get involved in your local brigade, so they can perhaps visit your suburb next year.

Thank you to all the wonderful rural fire brigade volunteers who put on these special Santa days and for your tireless work in keeping us all safe.
