Easter is nearing, and it’ll soon be time for Easter craft and chocolate eggs.

We’re aware that this is an unprecedented time and that changes are occurring rapidly in response to COVID-19. We are in touch with business owners and event planners and are updating this feature as changes occur.

Giant Easter Egg Hunt at Hunter Valley Gardens

Head to the Hunter Valley Gardens on Easter weekend and join in the biggest Easter egg hunt in the Hunter Valley! Every child will receive a gift of Easter chocolate upon completion of the hunt, plus each day there’ll be a golden egg hunt to win an annual family pass to the Gardens!

Kids can also pay their favourite dinosaur crew a visit at the annual Mega Creatures event which will be open everyday throughout the Easter break. And if that’s not enough fun, they’ll also be able to experience the usual attractions of the Hunter Valley Gardens including their popular carousel, ferris wheel, swing chair, inflatable world and superslide.

Where: The Hunter Valley Gardens, Polkolbin.
When: Easter activities will run 10-13 April. Mega Creatures will be open every day 9am-5pm from 10-26 April (including Good Friday).
Entry Cost: Adult (16yrs+) $30; Child (4-15 yrs) $20; Child under 4 free; Family Pass (2 Adults + 1 Child) $70; Family Pass (2 Adults + 2 Children) $85. Order your Garden Entry tickets online – this gives you access to the Easter and Mega Creatures events. See website for more ticketing options.
Ride costs: Tokens for individual rides are $6 each; unlimited rides wristbands are $15 pp (Rides pass tickets are available for purchase in the event area at the Gardens).

Easter Activities at Glenworth Valley

Grab your camping chairs or a picnic rug and head to Glenworth Valley for a family night of fun at their outdoor screening of Peter Rabbit 1: The Movie (PG). As well as awesome children’s entertainment on the big screen, there’ll be popcorn, pizza, burgers and an open bar! You can even spend the night and camp at their beautiful camping ground – just don’t forget to book your campsite in advance!

PLUS, little ones can put their equestrian skills to the test over Easter weekend and enjoy a 30 minute lead pony ride. The rides are self-guided and must be supervised by parents. Two accompanying adults are required for children aged between 3-4 years and one accompanying adult is required for children aged between 5-12 years.

And last but not least, the Easter Bunny will be hiding over 15,000 chocolate eggs at the Central Coast’s largest Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday! Entry to the Easter Egg hunt is FREE, however registration is essential. Register here for your free tickets.

When: The Outdoor Cinema event is on Easter Saturday 11 April 6-8pm with gates opening at 4:30pm. The Easter Egg Hunt* is on Sunday 12 April, 9-11am. Lead pony rides will be operating everyday over the long weekend.

The Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance on Easter Saturday at four locations across the Central Coast!

Where: Toukley Town Centre, Kibble Park Gosford, Memorial Park and Pelican Plaza, The Entrance and Wyong Town Centre.
When: Easter Saturday 11 April, 10am – 1pm.
Cost: Free

CANCELLED: Easter Egg Raffle + Free Disco at Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club


Kids can start the Easter fun early by throwing some shapes at the FREE ‘Bop til You Drop Disco’ at Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club this April. Register your child’s name at the bar to receive a gift!

Plus, there’ll be an epic Easter Egg raffle with over $1,500 worth of awesome prizes to be won. Tickets are on sale now!

When: Friday 3 April, 6.30-8.30pm. Raffle will be drawn at 7pm.
Where: Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club and Gold Course, Mangrove Mountain.

CANCELLED: FREE Kids Easter Craft and Disco


Head to Everglades Country Club on Good Friday for a night of FREE kids entertainment! Little ones can get crafty making their own Easter Bag for the Easter Bunny to leave their eggs in – he may even have already dropped some off! PLUS there’ll be a chance to boogie on down at the awesome Bop Til You Drop Disco.

Are you already a member? If so, kids eat FREE on Friday nights with the purchase of a main meal from Nine Buzzer Menu.

When: Friday 10 April, 6-8pm.
Where: Everglades Country Club in the auditorium.
Cost: Free.

NOTE: Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times and always be wearing footwear. Club dress code and code of conduct applies.

CANCELLED: Easter Egg Hunt at Breakers Country Club


Hop along to Breakers Country Club for an Easter Egg Hunt on the golf course! Kids are invited to collect hidden tokens which can later be redeemed for Cadbury Easter Eggs. Plus the Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance so make sure you don’t miss out!

When: Friday 3 April | Session 1: Kids 3-6 years – 6-6.20pm | Session 2: Kids 7-10 years – 6:30pm-6:50pm. Participants will need to arrive 20-30 minutes early to allow enough time to register in the function room before heading out onto the golf course.
Where: Breakers Country Club, Wamberal.
Cost: $5 per child.

NOTE: Children are welcome to bring their own basket or bucket along for the hunt, alternatively you can add a bucket to your booking for an additional $2.50 per child – the bucket will be yours to keep after the hunt.
