Better still, along with meeting these prehistoric beasts, you’ll also come face-to-face with the Park’s myriad animals. The Australian Reptile Park is home to koalas, alligators, platypuses, echidnas, cassowaries, Galapagos tortoises, wombats, Komodo dragons, tawny frogmouths and eyelash vipers. You’ll see chameleons, Tasmanian devils, a pig-nosed turtle, tarantulas, death adders, Mexican fireleg tarantulas and so much more.
If you visit this summer, you’ll also be one of the first to walk through their BRAND NEW venom centre, where you can meet Australia’s deadliest snakes and explore the Park’s cutting-edge antivenom program.
As well as Jurassic Zoo, your summer holidays entry ticket includes a terrific lineup of free animal shows, zookeeper talks, Elvis the croc feeds and animal walks where the keepers bring the animals out of their enclosures to meet you in the grounds. It’s these personal up-close encounters that make a day at the Australian Reptile Park so spesh.
