The 5 Lands Walk is a day-long festival along 10km of spectacular coastline.
The walk starts at Macmasters and ends at Terrigal (and takes in Copa, Avoca and North Avoca along the way). There are multiple activities, artwork and artists along the way:
- The Ephemera – Avoca Beachside Sculptures is always a favourite of ours. But be aware that the sculptors are asked to remove their sculptures between 3:30pm-5pm, so don;t dilly dally on getting there.
- The Treasure Hunt was a firm fave last year and i’s back again this year.
- The Connections Art Exhibition is a series of paintings, sculptures and photography by Central Coast artists held at the Avoca Beach Surf Lifesaving Club.
- Art in the Open involves some 30 artists creating works on the day of the 5 Lands Walk. They can be found at various points along the Walk from Macmasters to Terrigal.
5 Lands Walk 2024
Date: Saturday 22nd June 2024
Time: The MacMasters Beach registration desk will open at 7.15am, and service of their famous free breakfast starts around 7.30am – limited to the first 550.
At 8.00am, the First Step Ceremony will start on the Macmasters Beach Surf Club grounds.
Our advice: go early. The activities sadly don’t hang about and if you think you’ll wander in to one of the beaches in the afternoon you’ll find that a lot of things are already packed up.
