This playground is commonly known as Pirate Ship Park, but that’s a little misleading as there are no skull and cross bones here.
Kitted out with ladders, chain nets and a mini-flying fox, the play equipment here is fashioned like an old paddle steamer and suited to climbers and young adventurers.
There are swings for kids big and little, crocodile and dolphin sculptures lazing in the sand and a stage for budding actors.
The nearby tidal pool offers babes in arms and toddlers the perfect opportunity to experience a salt-water swim minus the pummeling waves, and the resident ducks are always keen for a free feed.

Ages: The playground is better suited to preschoolers and young children, but the tidal pool is ideal for babies and toddlers.

Parking: Car park attached plus plenty of street parking.
