A few of our favourite Central Coast pools are upping the fun with pool parties these school holidays! Heck, one of them even has its own on-site splash park and water slide! We know where we’ll be cooling off this Summer!

The Peninsula Leisure Centre, Woy Woy

You can easily spend an entire day at The Peninsula Leisure Centre in Woy Woy. The complex includes four indoor, temperature-controlled swimming pools – a 50m pool, a learn-to-swim pool; a warm-water program pool and a toddler play pool with a mini water slide.

There’s also a flume slide that will be operating at certain times throughout the school holidays.

PLUS, 2020 saw the opening of the leisure centre’s popular “Splash Park” – a nautical-themed water play park, complete with tipping buckets and lots of interactive features. This area has been designed on a flat space with zero water depth, making it super safe for little ones to totter around and make a splash. It’s wheelchair accessible too, and if you don’t want to get your own wheelchair wet, they can be borrowed from the facility to use within the area.

Had enough wet time and just want somewhere fun to hang that’s air-conditioned? The Peninsula Leisure Centre has a dry, soft-play zone for toddlers in the foyer that’s completely FREE to use! And, it’s positioned conveniently next to the recently updated onsite cafe – Spirit of Coffee – where you’ll find anything from sausage rolls and hot chips to avocado on Turkish and a variety of sweet treats.
