It’s time to get excited because the Coast’s BIGGEST Christmas event is back this December! As always, the Central Coast Christmas Fair promises to be a day full of festivities, excitement, and merriment, symbolic of the countdown to Christmas! But this year there have been a couple of small, but awesome, changes.

Normally entry is a gold coin donation, but this year for the first time in many many years, entry to the Central Coast Christmas Fair is completely FREE. Plus, they have a completely new date and location!

Formerly held for many years at Mount Penang Gardens, and then last year at Gosford, The Central Coast Christmas Fair has this year moved to Mingara in Tumbi Umbi. And, while last year saw it being held in the week before Christmas, this year it’s returning to the first Sunday in December (Sunday 3 December), so that you can get Christmas-ready nice and early.

Read on to get all the Christmassy details of this fun day out for families!

Families heading to the popular event can expect to enjoy a fun-filled day of Christmas shopping with the opportunity to peruse over 160 high-quality market stalls selling everything from hand-poured candles and Christmas decorations to handcrafted jewellery and locally designed kids’ clothes.

There’s plenty for those simply looking for a day of outdoor fun too, with a FREE kids’ entertainment area complete with games and face-painting, live music, and a whole heap of eating options from international vendors. PLUS, Santa will be making an appearance with his old pal The Grinch!

Feeling festive yet? We certainly are! Be sure to stick this date in your calendar and have a very Merry Christmas!
