Reader find: Belinda Murray recently moved to Booker Bay, and she’s been enjoying discovering new places across the Central Coast to take her children. Belinda contacted us following her recent visit to the Canton Beach Sensory Park. Playing in Puddles hopes to get there soon to write a full feature, but we wanted to share details of this find with you now as we think you’ll love it. Thanks so much for sharing, Belinda.
Belinda says, “I’m new to the Coast and love Playing in Puddles’ updates and tips on parks to try out. I thought I’d share this little gem that we found recently on a trip up to enjoy the rock pool at Norah Head.
The park is fully enclosed, has bathrooms available and plenty of parking. There are water views and a bike track nearby (kind of like Long Jetty Park). The park is all tactile with lots of musical instruments, and it’s structured for more imaginative play – kind of like the Livvi’s Place playgrounds in Ryde and Five Dock.
There’s also a nice little cafe [Beach Parade Cafe] within walking distance to grab a coffee to go, too.”
