From July 2019 NSW families will be able to access two Active Kids vouchers each calendar year – each valued at $100! Combine this with the new $100 Creative Kids Rebate and you can save $300 each year on your child’s after-school activities.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s office announced on 16 February that in 2019 a second $100 Active Kids voucher will be available for the six month period from 1 July to 31 December. From 2020 two $100 Active Kids vouchers will be available from Service NSW for the entire calendar year.
The aim of the expanded program is to pay for two separate sports such as netball in winter and swimming in summer, or two separate seasons or terms of the one sport such as winter football and summer football.
There are so many fantastic kids classes available across the Central Coast – from dance and music classes to drama workshops and sports. Check out our directory of local kids classes here to find a class that suits you.
You can access the rebates online or in person at a Service NSW centre.
The vouchers may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs. The voucher can be used at any time during the calendar year it was issued. These rebates are available for NSW school children.
Thank you NSW Government!
