Teddy bears doing the worm. Flying dinosaurs. Gravity-defying acrobatics. Welcome to Wolfgang in the Stars.
Created by internationally acclaimed circus company Circa, Wolfgang in the Stars follows the adventures of a young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who accidentally loses the final notes of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Determined to find them, he builds a rocket and blasts into space with his best friend – a lovable circus bear.
What follows is a wildly imaginative adventure through galaxies filled with roaring space dinosaurs, floating asteroids and surprises around every corner.
It's performing at Laycock Street Community Theatre these sproing school holidays. Scroll down to read more, or click the button below to grab your tickets now.

We saw Circa's last family show and absolutely loved it. It was funny – like really, really funny. Like laugh-until-you-snort, mums,-watch-your-pelvic-floor-type funny.
The new production keeps the same brilliant slapstick timing and high-energy physical comedy, but somehow takes the spectacle up another level.
There are shadow puppets, live video projections, LED juggling, tiny bicycles, teddy bears doing the splits and performers balancing three people high. Then there are the moments that make you go "WOW"! Picture a performer balancing on a rolling cylinder… that's balanced on another rolling cylinder… that's balanced on another rolling cylinder. It's the sort of moment that makes your jaw hit the floor.
One of the things we loved most about Circa's previous show was how many different art forms came together so seamlessly, and Wolfgang in the Stars promises more of the same. Alongside the prerecorded soundtrack is a live wind synthesiser performer who creates everything from trumpet, flute, tuba and string sounds on the stage. Add in shadow puppetry, circus, acrobatics, physical theatre, comedy and stunning visual effects, and there's always something happening on stage.
Suitable for ages 3+, this 45-minute performance is packed with funnies, music and "WOW!" moments that keep both children and adults completely captivated.
If you're after a school holiday show that's imaginative, surprising and just downright fun, Wolfgang in the Stars should be on your list.
