Is your little one obsessed with dinosaurs? These summer school holidays, they can stomp the path of the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex and see the snapping jaws of the Raptor at the Australian Reptile Park where these carnivorous creatures will be on show for Jurassic Zoo.

Showcasing the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods of geological time millions of years ago, kids will have heaps of fun as they take part in a park walk guided by keepers who are there to make sure that no one becomes a delicious dino treat! Plus those wanting to be a paleontologist for the day will get to roll up their sleeves as they learn how to find specimens and excavate their very own dinosaur. And as if that’s not enough, there’ll be even more roaring fun at the Dino Dance Party!

Live shows and hands-on animal encounters

In addition to the prehistoric fun, the park will be putting on a heap of daily live shows, including the American alligator feeding show (with 40 alligators!), a feeding of Elvis – Australia’s crankiest croc, the walking of Hugo the Galapagos tortoise and Dingo bush walks and talks. Roving keepers will also be wandering the park providing hands-on animal experiences with snakes, lizards, and cute, cuddly mammals.

Kids to Keeper School Holiday Programs

The popular Kids 2 Keeper program will also be back this summer where children of all ages can learn how to be a zookeeper. Plus, there’s even an adult Keeper for a Day experience available to those young at heart and keen to learn!
