Looking for fun and affordable activities your kids and teens can do during the Summer school holidays? The 2022 Summerfest Holiday Program at Erina is jam-packed with excitement and promises games, challenges, sports, performance, live music, Bible stories, friendships, and a lot of fun for kids of all ages!
Primary school-aged kids will be kept well entertained throughout the week (Monday 3 – Friday 7 January) with group activities that are split according to age group, which is great as you know they’ll be among their peers and taking part in activities that are guaranteed to engage.
They haven’t forgotten the littlies either! There are a bunch of activities they can join in – from preschooler jungle adventures involving games, songs, crafts, and puppets, to a fun play-based program for toddlers and the younger tots. And for parents of younger children wanting to take some time to relax with a coffee and a tasty treat from the cafe – there’s an onsite creche where you can drop your tiny people for some playtime fun while you catch up with friends.
Older kids from year seven are also well catered for with the Summerfest Nights program. Running throughout the week, these evening sessions will give tweens and teens the opportunity to hang out with their friends in a fun, safe environment. Expect live music, water sports, a late-night cafe, and more! Read on to check out the full program this summer. ↓
Little Tackers (Kids Year 1 – Year 2)
Little ones will join Milky the puppet in accomplishing his enormous mission of building the most amazing, epic, and awesome building of all time! Young primary school-aged children can expect a variety of games, exciting crafts, and tons of adventure during this jam-packed week of activities.
Dynamites (Kids Year 3 – 4)
Kids who love fun, friends, and blowing things up (safely) – this one is for you! Children attending this explosive activity will have a heap of fun learning about God, playing epic games, and trying out a few wrecking balls!
Vortex (Kids Year 5 – 6)
Tales are often told of the fabled ‘Golden Vortex’, and this year kids have the opportunity of a lifetime to learn the truth! Plus, there’ll be adventure, chilling, games, building things/ destroying things along the way!
Preschool and Kindy:
Young children will go on a jungle adventure with activities including games, songs, crafts, and puppets!
Toddlers and younger preschoolers will have their very own play-based program to explore!
The Summerfest Cafe is an onsite cafe that will run each morning of the Summerfest Kids program. Parents can pop in to enjoy great coffee, tasty treats, fun, and a bunch of helpful pop-up talks. PLUS, if you’re wanting to enjoy some ‘kid-free’ time with friends at the cafe, EV Church provides a creche for babies from 6 – 18months! Now if that ain’t a great opportunity for a little “me time”, we don’t know what is!
It can always be a little tricky finding great, affordable events that your older kids will enjoy during the school holidays but if anything can tick all the tween/teen boxes, it’s Summerfest Nights! This great event runs throughout the week and features water sports, live music, a late-night cafe, Bible talks, and more!
