Families with young children who LOVE the Edward the Emu and Edwina the Emu picture books are in for a huge treat this November! That’s right, there’s a new stage show coming to town that combines BOTH of these much-loved stories into one awesome tale that’ll have kids aged 4-10 and their adults utterly captivated!

It’s clever, it’s funny, it’s beautifully heartfelt, and is an experience not to be missed with your young children.

“Edward the Emu” Performance

Combining the stories of Edward the Emu and Edwina the Emu, this show will take you into the mind of a very bored bird. To shake up his life at the zoo, Edward breaks ranks and goes off in search of some fun, finding Edwina on the way.

The audience will get to see a pair of emus working through existential crises, zookeepers wondering what went wrong and trying to restore order, plus incredible puppet creation and costume designs.

Brought to us by the same Artistic Director who brought us Diary of a Wombat, Edward the Emu is guaranteed to be a hit with little bookworms who love to see their favourite characters brought to life on stage!
