Looking for a way to celebrate New Year’s Eve on the Central Coast?

This New Year’s Eve you can ring in 2025 with a bang at The Entrance and Gosford!

Two family-friendly festivals hosted by Central Coast Council will help families usher in the new year with music, entertainment and a dazzling display of fireworks. Scroll down to discover the fun happening across both locations.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Memorial Park, The Entrance

The Entrance’s Memorial Park has long been a family favourite for ringing in the New Year, and 2024’s celebration looks set to deliver again.

The fun kicks off at 6pm with dynamic groups Blue Vinyl and Joy Band bringing the sounds and setting the mood for the evening.

Taking the stage at 8:10pm is headliner act Joe and Co. This lively local music group fuses rock, blues and R&B, and is sure to get everyone up on their feet and dancing their way into the New Year.

You won’t go hungry: there will be multiple food trucks available selling dinner, drinks, snacks and sweets, as well as a special light-up dining area.

Feeling adventurous? The Entrance’s carnival rides and amusement stalls will be open and set to keep everyone well entertained.

And of course, what New Year’s Eve celebration would be complete without fireworks? At 9pm, the sky will be lit by a fabulous fireworks display to ring in the new year before little ones tucker out and head for bed.

So, gather your loved ones, bring a picnic rug, and join in the fun at The Entrance for a New Year’s Eve celebration that’s sure to deliver wholesome fun for the entire family.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Leagues Club Park, Gosford

After the success of last year’s event, we’re excited to share that Gosford will once again be a site for fireworks, live music and festivities this New Year’s Eve.

The celebrations will kick off at 6pm with roaming kids entertainment and hula hooping displays from Hoop Sparx plus free face painting and balloon animal craft from Dream & Believe Entertainment!

Sons of Murray, The House Band and The Baker Boys Band will keep things buzzing and little toes a-tapping throughout the evening.

You won’t be left hungry, with gozleme, Korean-style fried chicken burgers, pizza, chips on a stick and Caribbean street food on offer. And not forgetting dessert: THICC cookies, Dip n Dot’s ice-cream and churros will keep sweet tooth dancing.

The fireworks will blast off at the family-friendly time of around 9pm – the end of the A-League Men’s Mariners game against Melbourne City FC.

Tell your friends and family to meet you there!
