Got a wardrobe full of kids’ clothes or toys that your (not so) little ones have outgrown? We highly recommend hosting a stall at My Kids Market – the original and largest community market on the Central Coast to buy, sell and recycle pre-loved babies and kids’ items!

The hugely popular event will be returning to Bateau Bay on Sunday 7 April 2024 and with its large crowds of parents, grandparents and expecting parents looking for quality baby and kids items, it always promises a great day. So if you’re looking for ways to make some much-needed cash to put towards that family holiday, evening out, or nabbing your own bargain at the event, hosting a stall at My Kids Market is a great way to get some extra bucks! And it’s top way to declutter your home and win back some wardrobe space.

PLUS, did you know that local businesses can now host a stall too? Since the event relocated in early 2022, My Kids Market has evolved to EXPO-style proportions and now serves as a hub for local businesses to sell their handmade or boutique items directly to Central Coast families!

If April’s not going to work for you, keep in mind that markets are held twice a year on the Central Coast (normally April and September) as well as in Newcastle and across Sydney (scroll down for all dates).

To find out all about how to host a stall either as a private seller or as a local business, read on or simply click the link below.

Parents, here’s why you should sell your pre-loved kids and baby items at My Kids Market

If, like many families, you’ve gradually accumulated a bunch of kids’ clothes and toys that your little ones have now either outgrown or simply don’t use anymore, hosting a stall at My Kids Market has a number of fabulous benefits – here are just a few:
+ You’ll make some much-needed cash to put towards a family holiday, an evening out, or even use it towards shopping for some new items at the My Kids Market event!
+ Your kids’ wardrobe will be much neater and easier to sift through!
+ You’ll be giving another family the opportunity to enjoy your quality, pre-loved items as much as you did – a win-win for you, your buyer, and the environment!
+ Want to clear it all out in one fell swoop? My Kids Market supports We Care Connect charity by giving stallholders the opportunity to donate any unsold items they do not want to take home again, at the end of their Central Coast and Newcastle markets. So you can feel great knowing you’ll return home with an empty car.

Families can sell a variety of gently used items from clothes, shoes, and nursery items to toys, books, and unused gifts still in their original packaging.

It’s just $60 to host a pre-loved stall and the cost includes a trestle table and market insurance. Spots are limited, so don’t delay bagsing your space.

Business owners, you can host a stall too!

Business owners, did you know you can set up a stall at My Kids Market, too! Since the event relocated in early 2022, My Kids Market has evolved to EXPO-style proportions and now serves as a hub for local businesses to sell their handmade or boutique items directly to Central Coast families!

Shoppers love discovering and supporting local businesses and artisans, and this is a great way to show off your wares and services in person to local families.

Wondering what a business constitutes? Well, it’s anyone wanting to sell new or handmade goods, or who has a service-based business (even if you don’t have a registered business or an ABN). Here are some examples of businesses/artisans who have hosted stalls before:
+ Local artisans selling knitted beanies, cardigans, booties and bibs.
+ Local artisans selling handmade smocks, bibs, hair clips, earrings, hats, superhero outfits and more.
+ Service-based businesses aimed at families and kids.
+ Food stalls – think cookies, doughnuts, family meals, pies, etc.

It’s a great way to make in-person connections with your local community. It’s just $110 to host a business stall and the cost includes a trestle table and market insurance. To secure your stall, click here or email [email protected].

My Kids Market is Supporting Local Charity Smiles2U. You Can Help Too!

My Kids Market is proud to be supporting North Shore Mums Similes2U to their Central Coast Market on Sunday 10 September where they will be collecting donations of mini toiletry items for their Essentials Packs and also selling baby & kids goods with all proceeds supporting their amazing cause.

North Shore Mums Smiles2U is a 100% voluntary charity that provides care packs to patients and their carers who find themselves in hospital unexpectedly. They provide “Essentials packs” (which contain toiletries, such as a toothbrush, shampoo, soap, etc), care packages, smiles bags, and cancer care packs to 12 hospitals across NSW, including Gosford Hospital, Gosford Private Hospital and Wyong Hospital.

In order for Smiles2U to create these care packages, they rely on donations.

How can you help? It’s really simple….we are asking Stallholders and Shoppers to go through their bathroom drawers and bring along any excess hotel/mini-sized toiletry items, such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, tissues, toothbrushes and toothpaste. These will go directly into Smiles2U’s Essentials bags.
