If you’re looking to update your minis’ outfits and toy boxes but are looking for a cost-effective, eco-friendly way to do it, then we’ve found the answer. My Kids Market is the original and largest community market on the Central Coast to buy pre-loved babies and kids’ items, and it’s back on the Coast this September.

As well as pre-loved items, the market also includes stalls from local family-serving businesses plus local artisans selling everything from handmade booties and bibs to one-off hair clips and superhero outfits.

You’ll find:

  • Gently loved clothing, including quality brands such as Seed, Jamie Kay, Wilson & Frenchy and more.
  • Tonnes of toys – trucks, cars, teddies, doll houses, toddler walkers and more.
  • Larger baby items such as strollers, port-a-cots, kids’ tables and chairs. Think brands such as Bugaboo, Safe ‘n’ Sound, and Mountain Buggy.
  • Handmade items – such as knits, bibs, booties, hair clips and superhero capes – by local artisans.
  • Stalls with local family and kids’ services.

It’s happening this Sunday 8 September and we have a special deal for our readers. Shopper entry is normally $5 (kids free), but if you mention Playing in Puddles upon entry you can “Bring a Friend for FREE”!

Parents, here’s why you should sell your pre-loved kids and baby items at My Kids Market

If, like many families, you’ve gradually accumulated a bunch of kids’ clothes and toys that your little ones have now either outgrown or simply don’t use anymore, hosting a stall at My Kids Market has a number of fabulous benefits – here are just a few:
+ You’ll make some much-needed cash to put towards a family holiday, an evening out, or even use it towards shopping for some new items at the My Kids Market event!
+ Your kids’ wardrobe will be much neater and easier to sift through!
+ You’ll be giving another family the opportunity to enjoy your quality, pre-loved items as much as you did – a win-win for you, your buyer, and the environment!
+ Want to clear it all out in one fell swoop? My Kids Market supports We Care Connect charity by giving stallholders the opportunity to donate any unsold items they do not want to take home again, at the end of their Central Coast and Newcastle markets. So you can feel great knowing you’ll return home with an empty car.

Families can sell a variety of gently used items from clothes, shoes, and nursery items to toys, books, and unused gifts still in their original packaging.

It’s just $60 to host a pre-loved stall and the cost includes a trestle table and market insurance. Spots are limited, so don’t delay bagsing your space.

Business owners, you can host a stall too!

Business owners, did you know you can set up a stall at My Kids Market, too! Since the event relocated in early 2022, My Kids Market has evolved to EXPO-style proportions and now serves as a hub for local businesses to sell their handmade or boutique items directly to Central Coast families!

Shoppers love discovering and supporting local businesses and artisans, and this is a great way to show off your wares and services in person to local families.

Wondering what a business constitutes? Well, it’s anyone wanting to sell new or handmade goods, or who has a service-based business (even if you don’t have a registered business or an ABN). Here are some examples of businesses/artisans who have hosted stalls before:
+ Local artisans selling knitted beanies, cardigans, booties and bibs.
+ Local artisans selling handmade smocks, bibs, hair clips, earrings, hats, superhero outfits and more.
+ Service-based businesses aimed at families and kids.
+ Food stalls – think cookies, doughnuts, family meals, pies, etc.

It’s a great way to make in-person connections with your local community. It’s just $110 to host a business stall and the cost includes a trestle table and market insurance. To secure your stall, click here or email [email protected].
