Love the buzz and hype of an outdoor community street festival? Then get to Wyong’s 2024 Love Lanes festival! It’s back this February for its seventh year, and promises to deliver an evening of Valentine’s vibes and community love!

The popular, annual outdoor event with links to Valentine’s Day will be returning to the laneways of Wyong on Saturday 10 February 2024. Visitors to the event will see Wyong showcased in its best light – across four laneways, four stages and one park packed with entertainment!

Throughout the evening, families can discover forgotten laneways, explore hidden gems and immerse themselves in the abundance of colour, sounds, and smells of this unique outdoor event all while enjoying live music, roving entertainment, food and market stalls, a kids’ zone, and a circus precinct!

Top Fun for Kids and Teens

Got little tackers or teens? Look for these areas to keep them well entertained all night long.

Laneway Art: Think you’ve got what it takes to be a tightrope walker? Test your skills – safely – on Love Lanes’ 3D tightrope over a cityscape! It’s located in the alleyway connecting Alison Rd to Bakers Lane.

Rock Wall: Got teenagers too cool for the Kidz Zone? Get them climbing the Rockwall at the end of Rankens Court!

Village Central Zone: Have dreams of running away with the circus? This “circus precinct” zone is the space to hone your skills by watching aerial performances from the talented Roundabout Circus team (performing every hour)!

Wyong Baptist Church Kidz Zone: Kids can enjoy a bunch of fun, FREE activities and get rid of some excess energy, while adults give their feet a rest at this neat little breakout zone (located on Rankens Court).

Here’s where to head for live music, food and shopping

Bendigo Bank’s Main Stage: Take in a range of performances from national artists and headliner act Dear Sunday at the end of the fest. To take in the acts, we recommend you nab a spot in the Coastwide First National Chill Out Zone: Enjoy music from the main stage from the Coastwide First National Lane Chill Out Zone where you’ll find plenty of bean bags, cushions, and seating – or have a dance under the stars if you’d prefer! Plus, grab a selfie at the Love Lanes photo booth and tee off in a putt-putt golf comp.

MADD Stage: Listen to original and cover songs performed live by Central Coast charity group Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD). MMAD is a wonderful Australian charity (based on the Central Coast) that transforms young lives through music. We recommend you grab a bean bag and listen along from the Star Lounge.

Chapman Lawn: You’ll no doubt find us here – listening to the acoustic tunes, a drink in one hand from Jerry Sent Me’s pop-up bar and a paintbrush in the other as we dabble in a Pinot and Picasso workshop.

Grand Hotel Lane: Here, Woodblock Bar & Grill provide the food, Grand Hotel the drinks and Howard Shearman, the tunes. It’s a lot of fun and a great atmosphere.

Business Wyong’s Terrace: Come here to soak up the sunshine, music and festival vibes. Plus grab a bite or bevy.

Coastwide First National Lane: Head to the bustling Coastwide First National Lane where you’ll get to indulge in delicious street food from Wyong’s local favourites, shop ‘til you drop at some of the retail stalls and take a romantic stroll under the twinkling lights of the piazza.
