The Listies, Australia’s maestros of kidult comedy, are returning to our region with their new show 110% Ready, and we 110% recommend you get tickets to see them!
Matt and Rick are two Melbourne comedians who are side-splittingly funny, and their double act as The Listies has seen them win a tonne of awards for their interactive, illogical and irreverent shows.
Our Playing in Puddles family has seen them five times! We have their DVD, their chapter books, and their CDs are our go-to listening in the car. Our boys LOVE them, and we’re super confident that your kids will love seeing them on the stage these school holidays too.
They’re performing at the PACC (Performance Arts Culture Cessnock) and they’re offering 1 free adult ticket to each and every family! How absolutely awesomely epically fabulous is that!

Listen up Listies fans, the wait is officially over! Your favourite funnymen are touring New South Wales again, and luckily for us, they’re bringing their latest show and side-splitting humour to the PACC in Cessnock.
The Listies 110% Ready is a bonkers comedy extravaganza of epic proportions that sees The Listies tackle the joys of the morning routine: sleeping through the alarm, not having any milk, fishing dirty clothes from the laundry basket and burning the toast! The show is jam-packed with thigh-slapping skits that parents will knowingly relate to and kids will chuckle at.
The duo promises this show delivers a “poop-load of puns, silly slapstick sight gags, and a splash of improvisational idiocy”, and having seen five of their previous shows, our Playing in Puddles family has no doubt these Melbourne masters of mirth will deliver the laughs, too.
The Listies are fabulous: they’re funny, entertaining and they’ll make your kids fall in love with the theatre in a way that no other show will. We recommend you get yourself tickets (and yep, we’ve already got ours).
