Located on a quiet street, a new, much-needed playground opened at Hillcrest Avenue, Tacoma in October 2019, and it’s a little hidden gem.
With lots of room to kick a ball on the grassy area behind the park, this is a space where multiple ages can enjoy the sunshine.
A massive plus for local families is that the playground has rubber soft-fall ground cover: this makes it great for families with special needs, crawling bubs, and – well – anyone really who doesn’t want their kids covered in mulch!
Plenty of trees surround the park providing natural shade, so keep it in mind for a Summer outing.
The playground is great for toddlers through to primary school kids and features two slides, a climbing net, rock climbing walls, spinner and rocker, a group swing and tic-tac-toe.
