In Australia, we take for granted that mothers have access to a safe birth. But in many rural and remote areas of under-developed countries, this simply isn’t the case.

Zonta Club Central Coast is holding its biannual Birthing Kit Packing Day, and they’re calling on the community to help make a real difference.

Each Clean Birth Kit provides the essentials for a hygienic and safer birth in low-resource settings. The kits are distributed via outreach programs, health clinics, and traditional birth attendants — helping to save lives in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

You can support the cause by:

👐 Volunteering to help pack kits on Sunday 3 August (teens and adults welcome), or
💛 Donating $5 — the cost of one life-saving birthing kit.

It’s a small act that can make a big impact.
