Pack your lamingtons and get ready for a whimsical theatrical adventure, because Possum Magic is coming to town! This classic Aussie tale has been brought to life with an enchanting theatre production for children, showing at the Art House Wyong this October. Brimming with magic, puppetry, animation and an original soundscape, it’s theatre at its most engaging. Meaning? The kids will absolutely love it!

What’s The Story?

The show tells the story of Hush, a young possum who becomes invisible when Grandma Poss uses magic to protect her from a dangerous snake. But there’s one big problem – Grandma Poss can’t remember how to reverse the spell! So they head off on a madcap trip around Australia, looking for just the right foods to make Hush visible again.

It’s based on a much-loved book by Mem Fox, and has been adapted for the stage by the award-winning team at Monkey Baa Theatre Company. This entertaining adventure will captivate kids and draw them into an incredible, imaginary world where anything is possible.
