The Horses Birthday Kids Festival is this weekend and everyone’s invited!
Playing in Puddles visited last year and had a blast, and this year Glenworth Valley promises the celebrations will be bigger and better! This is a weekend packed with family fun: games, animals and entertainment for kids; food, markets stalls, wine and sunshine for adults.
This year they’ve really amped up the fun factor and there’s a heap of activities included as part of your entry fee, including:

Zorb balls, rock climbing walls and bungy trampolining will also be available for risk-takers (at an additional cost). Buy two tickets for $5 or five tickets for $10 and use them all on one ride or all three.
There will be a heap of food options available to tempt both discerning palates and fussy eaters (hello toddlers). Think Southern fried chicken bao and sweet potato fries loaded with plum ketchup, Kewpi mayo, sesame seeds and springs onions from the Bao Brothers and delicious morsels from The Gnocchi Way (we can vouch for their gorgonzola and walnut gnocchi – it’s scrumdidlyumptious).
Like to end the day with dessert? You’ll find the likes of banana, cinnamon and caramel goat’s milk gelato being scooped by local ice-cream churner Mr Goaty and waffles being stacked with Nutella and strawberries from the Wafflo van.
Wine and beer will be available from the bar as well as hot apple cider from the Glenworth Valley stall.
With all of this on offer and sunshine scheduled to shine, it looks set to be a pretty epic day of fun. We’ll bring the picnic rug, you bring the chairs. We’ll see you there.

Glenworth Valley Horses Birthday Kids Festival
When: 9.30am-4pm, Saturday 28 July and Sunday 29 July.
Tip: Bring cash. There will be an ATM, but cash is king with vendors and market stalls.
Entry Cost:
+ Tickets to the Saturday event are $15/person. These will soon increase to $20.
+ Tickets to the Sunday event are $22/person.
+ Children under 3 are free on both days.
