UPDATE 30 March 2019: This attraction is now closed.

The squeals of joy this petting zoo incites are infectious. You may hear them as your child bottle feeds a lamb, or nurses a guinea pig, or more likely, as their fingers get sucked by a beautiful long-lashed Dairy calf.

The Fur & Feathers Rescue Farm is home to orphaned, surrendered and rescued animals. You’ll find animals big (pigs, Shetland ponies, goats) and little (mice and chicks), and all of them are up for adoption.

Children are invited to pat free-ranging chickens, a puppy named Lou Lou and some cheeky rabbits who love nothing better than to nibble on a rubber thong. Staff are very friendly and happy to give children a special cuddle of some of the smaller animals, be it a mouse or baby chick. And when it comes to feeding time, everyone’s encouraged to get involved. Don’t dilly-dally though; the lambs, goats and calves down their bottles in a minute flat.
