There are so many fantastic kids classes available across the Central Coast, and many of these can now be experienced in the comfort of your own home!
We’ve found online classes in music, dance, drama and more! If you’re looking for ways to keep little ones entertained through learning and activity, or if you’re simply wanting to add a little routine to your days at home, these classes are a great way for kids (and adults) to stay connected during these challenging times.
These online classes are all run by Central Coast locals, so when face-to-face classes resume, your kids will have continuity with their learning and a familiar teacher to continue with… and in these times of uncertainty, that’s super comforting.

Music, Drama and Dance Classes
The Children’s Music Program at Central Coast Conservatorium of Music
Central Coast Conservatorium of Music’s NEW Children’s Music Program has moved online meaning that babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and primary school-aged kids can now continue their musical education from home throughout term 3! AND, when you sign up, each week you’ll get a weeks’ worth of classes for the same price as it usually costs to attend ONE class! For class types, times and fees, see the timetable below.

When: The program starts on Monday 19 July and runs until Friday 10 September 2021. Multiple classes are available each week (see below timetable).

Simone’s School of Performing Arts’ 3,2,1 Let’s Dance Classes
3 2 1 Let’s Dance is a highly engaging and interactive dance program designed for pre-school-aged children that combines Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, music, singing, and fun! AND, the great news is that they’re offering FREE Zoom classes to pre-school children every Saturday until the lockdown is lifted!

FREE Zoom Classes with Dance Adventure

Dance Adventure encourages young children to dream big, use their imagination and believe anything is possible – which is why it’s wonderful news that little ones can now dance at home with Dance Adventure’s online Zoom classes. Not only are these classes a super fun way to stay connected to each other, they’re also completely FREE, making them easy on the purse strings and accessible to anyone who’d like to join in the fun!

Inter-ACT Online with O’Grady Drama
Drama students can stay connected with their teachers and classmates during these Inter-ACT online classes from O’Grady Drama. Classes are held via Zoom and follow the same curriculum as face-to-face classes, keeping kids confident, creative and connected during their time spent at home. In the words of O’Grady Drama – the show must go ON-Line!
When: Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Age Group: Available for Primary school years 1-6 and high school years 7-12.

Circus at Home Digital Package from Roundabout Circus
Got tweens or teens at home who are just itching to learn something new and exciting? Circus at Home – an awesome new digital package from Roundabout Circus – is suited to kids aged 10 – 17 (although anyone who’s keen to learn can sign up)! Throughout the program, young performers will learn eight circus disciplines, including juggling, hula hoop, poi, staff, flowersticks, diabolo, handstands, and magic – all from the comfort of their own homes.
Age group: Best suited to kids aged 10-17.

Musikbugs Online Music Classes
It’s time for you and your little ones to sing, dance, get silly and make big noise with Kindermusik as they take their awesome children’s music classes online! These classes are fun, engaging and known to assist in the development of crucial skills such as language, confidence, independence, social-emotional skills and self-control.
And not only are these virtual lessons a great way to continue your child’s learning, they’ll also add an element of routine and connection to their day in a fun and interactive way. Plus, families receive home materials as well so they can enjoy music at home between classes.
