Set back off the street on a quiet cul-de-sac in Halekulani is a fantastic little park just begging for a visit! The newly built playground at Arnold Close Reserve has brand spanking new play equipment as well as heaps of space for kids to run wild.
Little ones will race their friends to get to the double slide and when they’re done, it’s time to get dizzy on the merry-go-round! Have a little climber? The rock-climbing wall will challenge little legs to get all the way to the top.
This little park has something for everyone. Toddlers will love the pretend play store and enjoy a wiggle on the wobble chair, while older kids will get a kick out of the climbing net, fireman’s pole and moving balancing poles.
There are two swings – a standard swing and an accessible swing for children or adults with special needs.
Little ones will enjoy trying to keep their balance as they hop across the stepping stones and take on the wooden balance beams. There’s also a flat concrete bike path surrounding the playground which is perfect for toddlers learning to ride or scoot.
There’s oodles of open space at the reserve so kids can throw down a couple of sweater goal posts and enjoy a game of soccer with their mates.
