Looking to escape the heat with kids in tow? Hurry on over to Westfield Tuggerah’s new indoor play area, which opened on Thursday!

Replacing the older soft play and climbing equipment in front of Target on Level 1, Play World spans two levels and has a fun surf lifesaving theme. We love how the names of some of the Central Coast’s iconic beaches feature on the roof of the structure. Like its predecessor, Play World is all about soft play, with a maze packed with obstacles that’ll have the kids climbing, crawling and problem solving. There are also two extremely slippery slides, as well as a helicopter cockpit to explore. In front of the main structure is a big red car to ride, plus three activity wall panels.

The new play area is recommended for kids under six years olds, and we think it’s ideal for two years and over.

Even better, you can grab a coffee from Shingle Inn, which is right next to the play area. Aldi and Coles are conveniently situated directly upstairs if you need to pop in for some supplies after a play. And don’t worry, toilets are close to hand too. You’ll find them behind you, next to Sussan.

This new play space is just one of many changes that’s occurred at Westfield Tuggerah in recent months, so we thought we’d stop by to check out all that’s now on offer for local families – and to get the down-low on all their kids eat free deals and NEW kids passes! Read on to unlock the fun.

Other Play Areas at Westfield Tuggerah

As well as their new Play World, Westfield Tuggerah has a smaller play area at the opposite end of the shopping centre, in front of Big W. It boasts a mini slide, activity walls and a soft play maze. It is opposite a parents’ room, which has a private feeding cubicle, changing bench, microwave, sink, and adult- and child-size toilets.
