Calling all toddlers and their families! The long-awaited Tonkiss Street Reserve Playspace upgrade is now OPEN, and it’s time to get your play on! From a humble two-swing, two-rockers setup to a mini wonderland of play, this revamped playspace is all set to delight.

While much of the play equipment is fairly same-same as many parks, there is one little gem that stands out as a point of difference and excitement. For fearless mini explorers seeking a climbing challenge, the bouldering unit awaits! It’s a great piece of creative equipment where tiny ones can put their climbing skills to the test, to build confidence and enjoy some active, challenging playtime. And the good news for parents: it sits at a height that doesn’t evoke anxiety.

Swinging is a classic playground joy, and Tonkiss Street Reserve doesn’t disappoint. The playspace now boasts a standard swing and a cozy nest swing, and they’re both situated on the softfall ground cover allowing easier accessibility.

The play structure includes a double slide, a rope ladder, balance beam, and a very mini rockclimbing wall.

Sandstone blocks provide seating for watching carers.
