Set in a naturally beautiful spot among lots of native trees and plants, the Sensory Gardens at the Entrance North are a perfect location for families wanting a relaxing walk or bike ride by the water.
The pathway runs along the edge of the pictureeque Tuggerah Lakes and has heaps of little lookout points and platforms for taking in the view.
Families wanting to make a day of it can bring along a picnic lunch and relax at any one of the many picnic benches set along the walking track.
The gentle track is flat making it suitable for little legs learning to ride and also for wheelchairs. The Sensory Gardens have been given their name for their appeal to people without site who are able to take in the wonderful scents and textures of the surrounding Australian Bush.
