Go on an immersive and interactive journey through Australia’s First Nations culture with Saltbush, the incredible multi-media experience coming to The Art House in September 2022.
Saltbush centres on the journey of two friends and their spiritual guide as they cross Australian landscapes on foot through river country, an urban landscape, desert, and the sea. Performed on a touch-sensitive carpet that initiates image, sound, and animation, the stage comes alive with patterns allowing young audiences to discover the land to understand and acknowledge how it shapes us.
The Saltbush performance uses sensor and infrared cameras which make it possible for the children in the audience to interact, play and perform in the show! It’s truly a magical experience and one that parents and teachers will find mesmerising as they watch little ones get involved.
