Celebrate the Central Coast this holiday season at the BRAND-NEW reIMAGINE Festival – brought to you by Central Coast Council.
This fabulous event brings a vibe of merriment and cheer to what’s been a challenging year for families, and what better way to celebrate the festive season AND our wonderful Central Coast community than by taking part in one of the awesomely festive events and creative activities that reIMAGINE has in store this December!
The reIMAGINE Festival has been designed to support local businesses and creatives based here on the NSW Central Coast and will see a series of pop-up events breathing vibrancy and excitement across six of the region’s town centres – starting this week.
So without further ado, read on to discover more about the range of exciting community events, workshops, exhibitions, performances and classes across Gosford, Wyong, Toukley, Terrigal, Woy Woy and The Entrance this Christmas and New Year!
Celebrate Christmas at The Entrance
Get the family together and head to The Entrance this December where you’ll find Santa’s Workshop and a Christmas Wonderland of fun activities!
Children can register for a series of FREE festive workshops hosted by local kids’ entertainment company Rock Sloth, including Card Making and Letters To Santa, Gingerbread Decorating, Ornament and Wreath Making and a Christmas Candy Cane Hunt and Decorating Workshop!

Christmas Activities across the Central Coast
In the week leading up to Christmas, families up and down the Central Coast can soak up the festivities at a community hub near them! Six of the Coast’s town centres will be adorned with Christmas trees and decorations, there’ll be roving elfish entertainment and a pop-up Christmas photo booth to grab some festive snaps on the go!

Curious Creators at Gosford Kibble Park
Head to Kibble Park Gosford this December to discover Curious Creators’ Christmas at The Parkhouse. Throughout the two-month event, you’ll find a range of interactive art exhibitions that you can peruse at your leisure. Plus, there’ll be locally made products on sale, as well as a series of creative workshops with something for the whole family to enjoy. Here’s what families can expect throughout December:
+ Dreamcatcher/Dreamweaver Workshop: Brought to you by Natalie from Curious Creators, this workshop invites children and their adults to create a mesmerising Dreamweb made with natural and recycled materials.

+ Drawing Workshop – ‘Enchanted Garden’: Brought to you by Brooklyn from The Paper Garden, this workshop will have you enjoying a dreamy drawing journey as you bring to life a garden-scape of mysterious and enchanting flora.

+ Flower Crown Making (for kids 5 and above): Kids can learn how to make a flower crown with fresh and dried flowers.

+ Kids Hula Hooping: This super fun class for kids aged 4-15years will have them working on motor skills, coordination and balance.
DATE & TIME: Mon 20 December, 12 – 1pm | COST: FREE to BYO hoop or hire a hoop for $2.
+ Beginner Hula Hooping: for Kids 13+: Did you know that Hula Hooping isn’t just for your waist? There are a bunch of different movements and dancing that can be done with a hula hoop and teens will learn them at this workshop!

+ Clay Play with Designs with Destiny: Brought to you by Designs with Destiny, this workshop invites you and your kids to explore Giacometti Sculpture Styles. This class is guaranteed to be silly, fun and messy!

+ Market Day at The Parkhouse: Wander through local artisan markets, grab a gift for someone you love, treat yourself to another house plant, or simply come along and listen to Harry, a local Central Coast garden expert who will be talking about sustainable gardening and all things plant-related.

+ Rock Painting Hunt and Play Jam: Pick up a Hula Hoop, skipping rope, Poi, Juggling Balls or just have a dance to the music. All Abilities Welcome!

Bella Rose Art – Kids’ Art Workshops in Woy Woy
Central Coast mandala artist, Bella Rose Art will be popping up at Creative Arena, Woy Woy this December with her beautiful exhibition of fine art prints, surfboard art, custom tattoo designs and more. Plus, she’ll be running a series of kids’ workshops including a kids’ Christmas card workshop, colouring workshop and a mandala workshop! Her workshops are best suited to kids aged 7 and above.
Where: Creative Arena, Woy Woy – located under Woy Woy Stadium on Oval Avenue.
When: The exhibition will run Thursday 2 – Sunday 19 December 2021. Opening Times: Friday 3pm-5.30pm, Saturday 11am-3.30pm, Sunday 11am-2.30pm and Tuesday 3pm-6pm (12 December only). Visit the website for workshop dates and times.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks at The Entrance
Wave off 2021 by visiting the Coast’s fireworks display at The Entrance this New Year’s Eve! While the display doesn’t kick off until 9pm, there’s heaps for families to see and do at The Entrance, with Vera’s Water Garden being every kid’s favourite place to visit during the Summer school holidays!
