There’s a brand-new playground between Voyager Street and Johns Road in Wadalba, and it’s already very popular with the locals.
The playground is on a large grassy block between John’s Road and Voyager Street and suits toddlers through to primary school kids.
The park has a group swing and 2 standard swings, one with a toddler seat. There are 2 slippery dips (one being a double), a 4 way seesaw, standing spinner, rope bridge, wooden logs & stone to balance on. Older kids will love the rope climbing station and the rock climbing wall.
A concrete path joins Johns road to Voyager street and laps around the seating areas. It is a great little space to ride scooters and bikes.
Two shaded picnic tables can be found on either side of the park and there’s lots of space on the grass to place a picnic blanket or kick a ball. There has been native trees and shrubs planted around the park but until the trees grow taller there is no real shade.
