The Central Coast locals of “Saradise” have got to be happy with Jirramba Reserve Playground’s recent upgrade! Set on the water’s edge in Saratoga, this cute mini park was given a makeover earlier on in the year, seeing the replacement of the original play equipment with a natural/coastal-themed playspace.

The new, bright blue play structure features a climbing net, rope bridge, fireman’s pole, and stairs up to a double slippery dip. Monkey bars and stepping stones lead up to the climbing net, creating a mini obstacle course for young kids to practice their balance and ninja skills!

There’s a new swing set including a bucket swing, two backless swings, and an inclusive group swing which overlooks New Brighton Wharf and Brisbane Water – a pretty chill place to be if you ask us!

There’s also a new rope net roundabout, a toddler bike track looping the park, a ‘shop’ for some imaginative play, and a fun colour wheel that little ones can look through to see Brisbane Water in technicolour!

There are two picnic tables within the park area itself and across the road, you’ll find an undercover picnic table right on the water’s edge.

Jirramba Reserve is just a five-minute walk from Saratoga Shopping Village where you’ll find a small collection of shops and cafes, including a local IGA – great if you forgot the packed lunch!
