Activities and Adventures at Glenworth Valley
Glenworth Valley is located just 20 minutes from the Gosford CBD, yet it feels like you’re miles away from everything. This picturesque 3,000-acre wilderness property is family owned and operated and has been providing both locals and tourists with outdoor adventure experiences for more than 40 years.
It’s a space in which you can enjoy quad biking, abseiling, kayaking, horse riding, laser skirmish and camping. Here’s the best part: these activities are not just for kids; adults can join in too, which makes it a really special family day out.
Camping at Glenworth Valley
Did you know that you can also camp at Glenworth Valley? Experienced campers can BYO accommodation, but if you don’t have all the gear, you can hire a tent, a tipi or event a cabin. If you’re embarking on your first camping trip, this is great “gently, gently” introduction to it.
Running of the Horses at Glenworth Valley, Central Coast
When you visit, make sure you find a spot to watch Glenworth Valley’s iconic Running Of The Horses when some 200 horses are mustered out of the riding yards. This event occurs every afternoon at about 4.30pm; however, the time and location varies daily, so it’s best to check with staff on the day for all the details.
