The end of term is almost upon us, and for families, this means packing away the school bags, throwing out the routine for a while, and planning exciting ways to spend the Easter break. And for those wanting to spend some quality family time together, we’ve found a bunch of super-fun school holiday activities for kids that you can do in a day at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley!

Pony Rides at Lovedale

Horse lovers – get set for a mini equine adventure as Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley will be offering kids’ pony rides at the Lovedale Horse Rescue facility throughout the school holidays!

At just $15 a ride, this is a fab and affordable activity for young kids to enjoy while their parents cheer them on. And with all proceeds going to Lovedale Horse Rescue (an initiative that supports farmers and rehabilitates horses in need), it’s for a wonderful cause too.

When: Pony rides will run every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday during the school holidays (Friday 8 April – Monday 25 April 2022 ).
Where: Lovedale Horse Rescue. 
Cost: $15 per pony ride.

Pizza Making Classes

Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley chefs are firing up the pizza ovens and getting ready for your kids to join them in a morning of dough spinning and flour shaking! Mini-chef participants will get to roll their own dough, top it with fresh ingredients, and devour it when it’s ready!

When: Pizza Making Classes will run every Wednesday and Saturday, 11am – 12pm throughout the school holidays.
Where: The Lovedale Bar + Grill.
Cost: $20 per child. Bookings essential.

Omelette Making Classes

Kids can start their day off with a nutritious omelette breakfast at one of the Omelette Making Classes hosted by Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley chefs. They’ll simply fill their pan of eggy-goodness with all the delicious ingredients they can find and voila – it’s theirs for the taking!

When: Omelette Making sessions will run on Thursdays throughout the school holidays.
Where: The Lovedale Bar + Grill.

Kids can get creative in the kitchen at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley these school holidays by signing up for these fun cookie decorating classes. They’ll get to ice their cookies before topping them with as many lollies as they can fit!

When: Cookie Decorating sessions will run on Thursdays and Sundays at 11am (Sunday 10 April – Thursday 21 April 2022).
Cost: $20 per child.
