A NEW park has popped up in Point Clare and Playing in Puddles’ littlest reviewers want to add this to their ‘Top 10 Parks List’!
Why? Because, despite being compact, the play equipment in this brand new play space is very different to your average playground.
Firstly, the play structure has been developed with little AND big kids in mind. The slowly inclining rope bridge up to the slide is challenging enough for slightly older children who want some ‘wobble’ in their play, while the ramp beneath makes this easy for little climbers to practice without the risk of falling.
When they reach the top, children will be delighted to find two platforms of nets – perfect for clambering up and checking out the scenery from up high. These sturdy nets are a welcome obstacle for the slightly more adventurous kids!
Younger children can practice their balance on the wobbly beam with its supporting bars that come complete with triangle shapes for weaving up and down.
There are also lots of clocks, compasses, telescopes and brightly coloured puzzles dotted throughout the equipment that will catch kids’ attention and keep them busy tinkering.
A park is not a park without a swing and this one has both a toddler swing and a standard swing for the older kids. We also love that this little playground is set on the bike bath running along the perimeter of Brisbane Water so it makes a perfect stop off point to stretch little legs.

Ages: Toddlers, preschoolers and primary school-aged children.
Fenced:Â Fenced from the car-park but open out on to the bike path. There is water nearby so be mindful of wandering toddlers.
Facilities: Shaded by large native trees, public toilets, litter bins.
Tips: There’s a large oval right next door so perfect for throwing a ball!
Parking: Yes, plenty!
