Did you know the Central Coast is home to one of the biggest indoor inflatable playgrounds in Australia? If you haven’t checked it out yet, we recommend you bounce on over to Inflatable World Charmhaven.
We absolutely love a good indoor inflatable playground – they’re such a great option for rainy days and 40-degree scorchers, or just when you need the kids to burn off some extra energy. And this one has recently been upgraded too! During the COVID-19 lockdown, the owners took the opportunity to give the place a makeover, which included redoing their party room and café area.
Inflatable World, which you’ll find inside Charmy Indoor Sports, doesn’t disappoint. It brings ALL the inflatables. With classic jumping castles, mega slides, obstacle courses, activity zones and rock climbing walls, there’s plenty to explore.
The inflatable pirate ship (yarrrr!) is super fun for the littlies as is the teeter-tottering mushroom that just begs to be ridden rodeo-style! The basketball hoops are a hit with siblings or besties challenging each other to see who can shoot the most hoops before falling over (onto a soft inflatable landing, of course). And those who are brave absolutely love plucking up their courage and throwing themselves off the “cliff”! But the section that our kids return to time and time again are the giant slides! Kids slide down them frontwards and backwards. They come down rolling and even flipping. And, if you go with friends, you can bet they’ll come down as a long chain – legs linked and absolutely cracking up.
Inflatable World really encourages the whole family to get in on the action, too. That’s right, this place isn’t just for the kids, so pack your socks and prepare for lots of tumbles, army crawling through tight spaces and squealing as *you* zoom down one of their numerous slides.
You have free range of the inflatable activities during your sessions and there are supervisors roaming around to ensure everyone’s safety and that everyone is getting a go.
There are some rules to make play fun and fair for everyone. Sessions are for two hours per single entry fee. Kids under 12 must have a parent or guardian with them. And you need to wear socks at all times.

Birthday Parties at Inflatable World Charmhaven and Charmy Indoor Sports
Hip hip hooray… These guys do parties! Which means you can put your feet up and relax while the birthday kid and crew entertain themselves on the inflatables. You’ll need to bring your own party food and decorations, but Inflatable World will supply table and chairs.
Parties run for two hours, with a party table included for 90 minutes. The base price is $240, which includes entry for 12 kids and four playing adults. For extra guests five years and over (including adults who also want to bounce), they cost an additional $16.50 each. Under fives are $11.50 each.
You can also do a bubble soccer party, which is ideal for soccer fans or a group of high-energy friends! They’re $120 for one hour, which includes four bubbles. Extra bubbles are $15 each.
Then there’s the sports party, where you can choose from indoor sports like cricket, netball, soccer, dodgeball and table tennis. These parties go for one to two hours. They’re $90 per hour for up to 12 guests.
Oh, and we can’t forget the DIY sports party! This includes court hire for your favourite sport for one to two hours. It’s $60 per hour for up to 12 guests.
Can’t decide what kind of party you’d like? You can book a combo party. This is where you mix and match Inflatable World, bubble soccer and a sports party in a configuration that suits your guests best. These parties go for two hours and prices start from $240 for up to 12 guests.
Charmy Indoor Sports sporting competitions
If you fancy a game of netball, cricket, soccer, softball or volleyball, this is the place to show off your sporting prowess.
Got a sports-mad kid who loves team games? Charmy Indoor Sports run a whole heap of sports comps from soccer and volleyball to cricket and netball.
Plus, they even run a multi-sports comp where kids get to play a different sport each week! Now that’s a heap of fun and a great option for children who don’t want to be locked into one game for an entire season! We’ve not heard of this being offered elsewhere, and we think it’s an awesome idea!
It’s just $35 per game with a $35 team nomination fee, PLUS Charmy Indoor are a registered Active Kids provider so each child can save $100 off term fees.
