Still waiting for your 2023 exercise mojo to kick in? We hear you! The New Year is always a great time to give your fitness a kickstart but with January and all its busyness (ahem…school holidays, work juggles, enter other ‘to do’ list items here…) it can be near impossible to find the motivation, let alone the energy or time.

If this sounds like you, there’s help on the horizon! The lovely Alison, Exercise Physiologist and founder of Healthy Bumps and VHAB will be kicking off the first VHAB Challenge of the year in JUST TWO WEEKS!

Starting 6 February 2023, the VHAB 8-Week Challenge is all about motivating mums to find some fun and confidence in exercise. Amen to that! And for those of you who are already familiar with VHAB’s very gentle 6-week rebuilding After Birth Program, this challenge is different. This is for ALL the mums at ANY stage after birth! It doesn’t matter what level you’re at, VHAB’s Exercise Physiologists will work with each person to reach their individual goals and build confidence and motivation for 2023.

Want to know where to sign up? You can email Alison at [email protected] to get the Challenge info pack, or send a message directly to the VHAB Facebook page to learn more. For further Challenge details, read on.

Who’s the 8-Week Challenge For?

It doesn’t matter what stage of motherhood you’re at, if you’ve had a baby at some stage in your life then this Challenge is for you! It’s also for:

+ Those wanting to get back into exercise AND/OR
+ Those wanting to raise the bar and train outdoors with professionals.
+ Those needing to do something for themselves and who want to be in the safe hands of exercise professionals.
+ Or, for those who want to do their own training, but want to join the challenge for some accountability and assessments to help keep track of their improvements, while getting the motivation of a team environment.

How will the Challenge work?

Here’s what to expect throughout the 8-Week Challenge:

+ The challenge will start and finish with some baseline strength assessments so that you can see the fruits of your hard work. You’ll also receive a before and after Sozo body scan.
+ 10 weekly sessions held across several Central Coast locations including Ettalong, Killarney Vale, Terrigal, Avoca, and Kincumber (sessions will be both indoors and outdoors and you’ll get to choose to do one per week or opt for the unlimited classes option).
+ Safe training with exercise professionals.
+ Coaching calls and Q&As with specialists.
+ Private health rebate.
+ Lots of fun excursions that’ll show you some of the new exercise hobbies that are available around town.
+ Access to a private Facebook group where you’ll meet a community of like-minded mums.

Then, upon completion of the Challenge, there’ll be a group night out to celebrate your success!

You can choose from 3 sign-up options:

  1. Option 1: Assessments, scans, excursions, and fun stuff while doing your own training.
  2. Option 2: All Option 1 items + One VHAB training session per week.
  3. Option 3: All Option 1 items + Unlimited VHAB training sessions per week.
