School’s Out! Let’s welcome the holidays in with a bang. There are so many fabulous events happening across the Central Coast and neighboring regions. Where will you head this weekend?

1. The Raw Challenge, Doyalson

5-12 year olds can tackle 3 kilometres of obstacles, mud, and water challenges in the Raw Challenge Youth Wave.

When: 23-24 September.
Location: Doyalson.

2. Princesses and Pirates Kids High Tea

Ahoy there mi hearties, “Pirates and Princesses” is the theme for this holiday’s Crowne Plaza Kids High Tea and dressing up is encouraged. A puppet show will hit the stage as the main entertainment, plus there will be face painting, balloon sculpting, and plaster decorating. And, of course, a high tea lunch fit for a princess.

Location: Crowne Plaza Terrigal. 
Tickets: Adults $29; children (aged 3-12) $29 each; infants (2 and under) free but will not be allocated a seat.

3. Kiddies Kars Display at Gosford Classic Car Museum

The stars of “Cars 3” are making a special appearance at the Gosford Classic Car Museum these school holidays. Little rev-heads will be beyond star-struck when they come face to face with their favourite wheels.

When: The museum is open 9am-5pm Wednesday-Sunday, plus the Monday of the long weekend.
Location: Gosford.
Tickets: Adults $20; children 4-14, $12; under 4, FREE!

4. Mega Creatures at Hunter Valley Gardens

Venture into a world of Mega Creatures and exciting rides at Hunter Valley Gardens these school holidays! Explore the gardens and discover more than 40 giant Dragons, Dinosaurs and Mega Bugs. There are lots of rides too (for a little extra $).

When: Every day throughout the holidays.
Location: Hunter Valley Gardens.
Tickets: Adult (16yrs +): $30; Child (4-15yrs): $20; Family Pass (2 adults, 1 child): $70; Family Pass (2 adults 2 children): $85; Child 3 & Under: Free; Senior: $27.

 5. SportsFest Central Coast

There will be free activities, exhibition games, come ‘n’ try sessions, visits by sporting heroes, autograph sessions, professional demonstrations, live entertainment and food markets.

When: 23-24 September.
Location: Bateau Bay
Tickets: Free entry.

6. Kids disco at Central Coast Leagues Club

There will be games, prizes, dancing and fun for all! Kick start the September School Holidays with a party at Central Coast Leagues Club.

When: Saturday 23 September.
Location: Scenic Lounge, Central Coast Leagues Club Ground Floor, Gosford.
Tickets: $5 per ticket (snack and drink provided).
